Mauritius You’ve Been Too Good To Me

Aloha ! I just landed in Paris, kind of sad to be back home.. But I have soooo many photos to share with you guys ! As mentioned in my last post, I wanted to update you daily from there but unfortunately the wifi connection at the hotel didn’t let me haha I couldn’t download any photos on my blog 🙁 However fortunately I did manage to post quite often on Instagram @thestilettoholic so those of you who follow me there may have already seen some snapshots of my trip. One word: MAGICAL. I can’t even describe how much I loved dicovering Mauritius. It has always been one of my dreams to go there and I can’t barely believe that I just made it happen ! I stayed at the marvelous Maritim Resort & Spa hotel in Turtle Bay (Balaclava) and oh my ! Never ever had such a wondeful stay (not being a huge fan of resorts I was not expexting such an experience.) The other thing which made me fall in love with Mauritius was definitely the kindness and genuineness of Mauritians. Not only at the hotel but everywhere I went. I truly felt like home and didn’t want to come back.. But I guess all good things come to an end.. I’ll do another post or two, to share with you all the photos I took there and maybe some tips and ideas of things to explore as well, so if you’re interested, or have any questions, feel free to let me know in the comments 🙂

Exciting news #2 ! I also just booked a new trip ! Totally unplanned and unexpected.. That’s my favorite way of planning: letting things happen and just go with the flow, now that’s the adventure ! haha This year is definitely going to be a travel year for me and I’m so excited about that ! I’m leaving by the end of May for… TOKYO ! I’ve never been to Asia before so this will be my first time, of course I’ll bring you guys along with me. If you have any recommandations on things to do while I’m there, let me know below 🙂

Aloha ! Je viens tout juste de rentrer à Paris et j’ai une toooonnne de photos de mon voyage à l’île Maurice  à partager avec vous ! Comme je l’avais mentionné dans mon dernier article, je voulais vous faire des posts de mon séjour tous les jours depuis mon hôtel sur place, mais malheureusement le wifi en a décidé autrement ! Haha le débit était très faible ce qui fait qu’aucune photo n’arrivait à se télécharger sur mon blog 🙁 Heureusement j’ai quand même réussi à poster quotidiennement sur Instagram @thestilettoholic celles parmi vous qui me suivent ont sans doute déjà vu quelques aperçus de mon voyage. Un mot: MAGIQUE. Je ne peux même pas décrire à quel point j’ai adoré découvrir l’Île Maurice. Ça a toujours été un de mes rêves d’y aller et je n’arrive toujours pas à croire que je viens de le réaliser ! J’ai passé mon séjour au superbe hôtel Maritim Resort & Spa dans la baie aux tortues (Balaclava) et honnêtement je ne m’attendais pas à vivre une expérience aussi fabuleuse ! (N’étant pas fan des resorts en général je ne m’attendais pas à passer un tel séjour.) Ce qui m’a également marquée c’est la gentillesse et l’authenticité des Mauritiens, tous sans exception, pas seulement à l’hôtel mais aussi partout où je suis allée. Je me suis vraiment sentie comme à la maison là-bas, autant vous dire que je n’avais aucune envie de rentrer.. Mais bon, toutes les bonnes choses ont une fin comme on dit.. Je ferai encore un ou deux posts pour partager avec vous le reste des photos que j’ai faites et également quelques petites recommandations de choses à visiter sur place. Super nouvelle #2 ! Je viens tout juste de booker mon prochain voyage ! C’était complètement imprévu et inattendu.. Autrement dit, c’est la façon dont je préfère faire les choses: laisser faire les choses et saisir les opportunités quand elles se présentent, ça c’est l’aventure ! Haha Cette année va donc vraiment être une année voyages pour moi, j’ai tellement hâte ! Je pars fin Mai à… TOKYO ! Je ne suis jamais allée en Asie, ça va donc être ma première fois. Si vous avez des recommandations de choses à faire, voir, manger ou autre, je suis preneuse 🙂
